RM Energy is a Western Australian-owned and operated company that specializes in electrical networks for high voltage and low voltage systems. We are focused on creating long-term relationships with our clients, enabling them to know that the electrical network is being maintained correctly and operated correctly. Projects

High Voltage Cables

The nature of the work varies between sites and ranges from high voltage inspection, testing and installations. We have a large experience in working throughout the industry and are proud to discuss our projects in detail.

We are able to locate defects before they breakdown causing unnecessary outages and loss of revenue, we adopt a sweep of diagnostic tests which will simulate the cable in normal operation under a controlled environment. We can also measure the partial discharge online without the need for outages and can also carry out modiﬁcations during to enable the online methods to be adopted with less difﬁculty.
These diagnostic tests are not limited to only maintenance, they can be used during commissioning to set a benchmark on the quality of the cable and accessories ﬁtted. We have seen thorough the industry many instances where the termination has been ﬁtted incorrectly or sometimes not at all that has caused a failure resulting major equipment damage and a threat to life.

We only use professional (cert 3) cable jointers who are leaders in their ﬁeld and are trained and qualiﬁed in the tasks they carry out . We offer a complete turnaround package which includes cable installation, assembly, commissioning and a maintenance plan for the accessories with GPS locations on all cable joints with above ground markers.
